The Fast Track I

After reading this book, I'm quite convinced you will look at the world of work in a different light and will feel better positioned to make that ‘Fast Track’ happen. I will convey a mindset, a set of behaviors, a way to structure your thinking, a framework for communicating, and tips on how to continue growing.

I have been working for just over 5 years now, so clearly, I’m not a former CEO looking back on an amazing career ready to share my experiences. That being said, things have been going pretty well for me so I have decided to write a book now because I’m still very much ‘in it’. I’m currently at a point in my career that is still very close to that very first working day, and thanks to that I hope that this book can offer highly specific and directly applicable recommendations for young starters and people looking to continue their career progression without unnecessary delays.

My career started in 2015 at one of the Big 4 consulting firms, after which I went to a niche firm, then joined a Tier 1 management consulting firm, and currently I’m working for a large corporate in Telecommunications where I lead a team of +15 data scientists, - analysts and researchers.

My ambition in writing this book has been to make it brief and clear without adding ‘fluff’. I would rather see you read the core messages three times and really focus on that than tripling the volume and diluting what I’m trying to bring across. I hope you will find highly specific advice on every single page - with the risk of this book feeling ‘light’ on personal stories. It is a conscious choice.
